Over 25 years ago, Cuban-born musician, producer, and engineer Guido Diaz founded Skylight Recording with the goal of providing the NY/NJ Latin musical community with a state of the art recording facility combined with an intimate understanding of Latin music and culture. That formula instantly struck a chord and has equaled success.
Within that time, Skylight Recording has built an international reputation for recording and producing some of the biggest names in the Latin Market. Mr. Diaz has worked with industry legends including Celia Cruz, Johnny Pacheco, Tito Puente, La Inda, Oscar de Leon, Jose Alberto (El Canario), Raulin Rocendo, Brenda K. Starr, FAT JOE, Patti Labelle, and Wyclef Jean. Today, Skylight the studio for many top recording artists of all genres.
As Skylight's reputation grew, so did Mr. Diaz's ambitions.
